INADES primarily works in the Eastern part of the country; Makueni, Machakos and Kitui counties in Kenya.
Using an approach known as the Backup of Farmers’ Organisation dynamics (BAFOD), INADES supports farmers to understand the changing social, economic and political processes that affect agriculture in Kenya. INADES empowers the farmers and communities it works with to understand these ever-changing systems, so that they can play a leading role in their won agricultural decisions. INADES also enables rural farmers to access strategic resources and information relating to agriculture.
